Resources and Information
The Lawton Public Library is a limited depository (approximately 12%) for Federal Government Documents. We are also a full depository for Oklahoma State Documents. The Reference Department is in charge of maintaining this collection.
Internet Reference is a service of the Lawton Public Library Reference Staff. We will attempt to answer questions received within the same guidelines that we apply to questions received from walk-in and telephone patrons. Priority will be given to residents of our primary service area.
Please fill out the request form below and click on the "Submit" button to send your request to the reference staff. We will respond as soon as possible, usually within one working day, to update you on our progress. If your browser does not support forms, you may email your question to the Lawton Public Library reference department.
Please provide as much information as you know about the question you are asking, including any limitations such as reading level required, time limitations, etc.
Choose from our free full-text databases such as HeritageQuest, EBSCO, WorldCat, Facts On File, and Gale Virtual Reference Library to search through hundreds of books, encyclopedias, periodicals and magazines, and family history resources online for free. Some of these databases will require contacting the library in order to obtain login information.
For access to any of the above databases, please contact the library Reference Desk at 580-581-3450, extension 4 to obtain login information.
