Lawton Joins Partnership For Safe Water
The City of Lawton Water Treatment Plant joined the Partnership for
Safe Water in May 1999. This program is a national initiative to help
achieve operational excellence in water treatment.
The Partnership, is a voluntary program that requires its members to
scrutinize their water treatment practices using a four phase self assessment
and peer review process. Under criteria established by the national partners,
this facility will evaluate water treatment operations, maintenance and management practices.
