Class 1 Description Class 1 Rates

Entertainment brought in by an out of town promoter, individual, firm, corporation or similar sponsor when the event is for the direct benefit of the sponsor.  Hiring a local person to do advance work does not change the Class 1 designation of this type of performance.  This performance is for private profit.

Class 2 Description Class 2 Rates
Entertainment brought in by a local promoter, individual, firm, corporation or similar sponsor and the event is for the direct benefit of the sponsor.  This performance is for private profit.

Class 3 Description Class 3 Rates
Entertainment brought in by professional fundraisers to provide some funds for local civic clubs, service organizations, churches, or educational units. A portion of these funds are to be donated to charitable or welfare work.
First performance $450.00
2nd performance $250.00

Class 4 Description Class 4 Rates
A.  Entertainment brought in by local civic clubs, service organizations, churches, or educational units where all proceeds are to be donated to charitable or welfare work, or to be used for the general betterment of the community.

B.  Entertainment produced by and with local people (with no professionals) for cultural or civic purposes.

C.  Entertainment produced or presented by Resident Groups.  A resident group is one that is certified non-profit organization that exists for the sole purpose of producing or presenting entertainment events designed to enhance the cultural essence of the community. The organization must petition the McMahon Auditorium Authority for acceptance.  The Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra is a current resident group.

Rental of the auditorium  House sound
One pair of stage monitors
House lighting system  Heating and/or air conditioning  Auditorium Coordinator services
The following items are not covered by your rental fee:
Stagehand fees  Setting up the risers or acoustic shell  Insurance (liability & theft) 
Moving/changing stage rigging, including lights/other equipment, & return to original condition
Security personnel  Unscheduled rehearsals
Grand Piano use or tuning (use of the up right piano in the pit is free except for tuning)
Ticket sellers, doorkeepers and ushers  Ticket printing
Advanced ticket sales (including credit card sales) Light trees
