Finance Department


The Finance Department has charge of the following:

  1. Preparing financial reports for the City Manager, Council and departments;
  2. Collecting and safeguarding all public funds;
  3. Investing city funds;
  4. Preparing special financial reports and studies for city departments and authorities;
  5. Assisting the City Manager in compiling and preparing the annual operating and Capital Improvement budgets;
  6. Providing supervisory review over Purchasing Operations, Revenue Collecting Operations, and Accounting Operations.
