Mayor Purcell called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Notice of meeting and agenda
were posted
on the City Hall notice board as required by law.

COMMENTS CURRENT ADMINISTRATION
Mayor Purcell stated there was no quorum present and they will proceed with the swearing
in.
DECLARE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION TO CEASE MAYOR PURCELL
Mayor Purcell requested Judge Corrales come forward for the Oath of Office.

ADMINISTRATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL AND STATUTORY OATHS OF OFFICE
MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE MICHAEL CORRALES.
Mayor Purcell, Bill Shoemate and James Hanna received the Oaths of Office from Judge
Corrales.
DECLARE NEW ADMINISTRATION TO BEGIN: Mayor John P. Purcell, Jr. declared the
new
administration to begin.

COMMENTS NEW ADMINISTRATION
Shoemate stated he is looking forward to another term.
Hanna stated he is looking forward to working with the council and his constituents
from Ward
2.
Jackson stated he would like to congratulate Councilmembers Shoemate, Hanna and Mayor
Purcell on their re-election.
Mayor Purcell stated he would like to thank the citizens of Lawton for their confidence
in
electing him for another term. He welcomed Councilmember Hanna back to the council.
Mitchell congratulated everyone on their successful election campaigns and stated
he is looking
forward to working with everyone. He stated there is a workshop scheduled for April 14 at
Cameron to discuss issues and priorities for the City Council.

There being no further business to consider, the meeting adjourned at 9:08 a.m. upon
motion,
