LAWTON CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 6, 2006 - 9:00 A.M.

Mayor Purcell called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Notice of meeting and agenda
were posted
on the City Hall notice board as required by law. Invocation was given by Mayor Purcell,
followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

COMMENTS CURRENT ADMINISTRATION
Mayor Purcell stated we are here to today to swear in two Councilmembers. Ms.
Drewry and
Mr. Patton are in Washington DC. Mr. Patton was sworn in the previous week by Judge
Corrales. He stated he cannot remember when they have sworn in Council members that are all
returning.
Warren stated he has had a great time the last three years and looks forward to the
upcoming
three years.
Haywood stated he would echo the exact comments.
DECLARE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION TO CEASE MAYOR PURCELL
Mayor Purcell requested Judge Corrales, Council Members Stanley Haywood and Randy
Warren
come forward for the Oath of Office.

ADMINISTRATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL AND STATUTORY OATHS OF OFFICE
MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE MICHAEL CORRALES.
Stanley Haywood and Randy Warren received the Oaths of Office from Judge Corrales.
DECLARE NEW ADMINISTRATION TO BEGIN: Mayor John P. Purcell, Jr. declared the
new
administration to begin.

COMMENTS NEW ADMINISTRATION
Warren stated he is looking forward to his next term.
Haywood thanked all his constituents from Ward 7. He stated in the next three
years he hopes to
clean up the Lawton View, Ranch Oak, McClung and Mattie Beal areas. He stated he will stay
committed and communicate with his constituents. He is grateful to have this opportunity.
