The meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. by Mayor Powell. Notice of meeting
and agenda
were posted on the City Hall notice board as required by law.

COMMENTS - CURRENT ADMINISTRATION
Moeller said it had been a pleasure to serve on the City Council, that she had learned
alot and
made many friends. She said last year had been tough and that she would welcome the break but
would be back to serve the community in some capacity in the future as she had done so all of
her life. Moeller thanked those who had supported her.
Mayor Powell presented a plaque of appreciation containing Moeller's name plate and
the City
seal in honor of her service to the City of Lawton. He commended Moeller's performance.
DECLARE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION TO CEASE - MAYOR POWELL.
Mayor Powell declared the current administration to cease. He asked that Judge Corrales
and the
recently elected members come to the stage for the Oath of Office.
ADMINISTRATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL AND STATUTORY OATHS OF OFFICE -
MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE MICHAEL CORRALES.
Jeffrey Patton, Stanley Haywood and Randy Warren received the Oaths of Office from Muncipal
Judge Michael Corrales. The members were welcomed.
DECLARE NEW ADMINISTRATION TO BEGIN: Mayor Powell declared the new
administration to begin.

COMMENTS - NEW ADMINISTRATION
Patton thanked Barbara Moeller for her work over the past three years in representing
Ward 6
with a lot of grace. He said he looked forward to working with Moeller in the future and for the
betterment of Lawton.
Warren thanked those who supported his campaign and said he looked forward to working
for
the citizens of Ward 8 and all of the citizens of Lawton.
Haywood noted he received the oath of office again after having been unopposed in the
recent
election and that he was glad to be able to continue to serve.
Mitchell and Vincent welcomed the new members and offered assistance as needed. Mayor
Powell gave a reminder of the first budget meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 5:30 p.m.
There being no further business to consider, the meeting adjourned at 9:15 a.m. upon
motion,
second and roll call vote.
