LAWTON CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. by Mayor Marley. Notice of meeting and agenda were posted on the City Hall bulletin board as required by law.

Shanklin arrived at 5:45 p.m.

BUSINESS ITEM:

1.    Conducted review of proposed FY 1996-97 City of Lawton budget. Motion approved to direct the City Manager to come back with a 7% increase in utility rates, leaving everything the Council added; leaving the 2.5% cola; and putting in a 2.5% increase to all general employees; and adding a $3 capital charge to the utility bill, not deleting any type for capital outlay.
