LAWTON CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Marley.
Notice of meeting and agenda were posted on the City Hall
bulletin board as required by law.

5. Res. 96-46 approved for Diane Jones Workers' Comp. claim -$12,402.50. Actions
to prevent workers' comp claims discussed.
6. Accepted water line extension to serve Lot 1, Block 1,
Turnpike Industrial Park North, Part 2.
7. Approved MOU with Lawton Metropolitan Planning Organization
for FY 1997 re: transportation study.
8. Approved agreement with ODOC for assignment of inmates.
9. Approved amendments to contracts with: Roadback, Inc.;
Lawton Crime Stoppers, Inc. (K-9 services); Lawton Crime
Stoppers, Inc. (sale of personal property); J. Roy Dunning;
County Commissioners for juvenile detention center.
10. Res. 96-47 free fishing days June 8 and 9, 1996.

Mayor will declare state of emergency re: wind storm. Special
Council meeting Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. on budget. City
crews and PSO shown appreciation for work during storm.
