LAWTON CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

OCTOBER 10, 1996 - 10:30 A.M.

The meeting was called to order at 10:50 a.m. by John T. Marley. Notice of meeting and agenda were posted on the City Hall bulletin board as required by law.

2.    Meeting of the Board of Education called to order by Deborah Bailer, President of the Lawton School Board with the roll call reflecting the following members present: Deborah Bailer, Cecil Powell, Lew Johnson, Minnette Page, Patti Neuwirth. The City Council came to order when a quorum was established.

3.    Received reports on the actions of the Lawton Transit Task Force; Potential Rider Survey; and received an overview of an economic feasibility report from OSU Extension Office. Council approved a motion to continue their investigation of a mass transit system and involve the assistant of the OSU Extension office. The School Board approved a motion  to request the services of the OSU Extension Office.
