LAWTON CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

AUGUST 16, 1994 - 5:30 P.M.

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Mayor Marley. Notice of meeting and agenda were posted on the City Hall bulletin board as required by law.

Absent:    None.

BUSINESS ITEMS:

2.    Received a presentation from the Superintendent of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and City Engineer on the current treatment capacity of the plant and the future improvements to the plant, which completes the detailed report requested in Item One. (Item 2 considered first).

1.    Received a detailed report on the Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Phase 1, as constructed by Hardaway Company, and considered taking appropriate actions necessary to bring the Plant to a 15 million gallon a day capacity. Motion was to abide by the previous decision.

3.    Tabled consideration of amendment to the contract with CH2M Hill to provide an independent analysis of the current treatment capacity of the Wastewater Plant or seeking proposals to provide such analysis.
