LAWTON CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING
FEBRUARY 23, 1993 - 6:00 P.M.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Marley. Notice of meeting and agenda were posted on the City Hall bulletin board as required by law.

1.    Damage claims recommended for denial: Craig and Mindy Smith approved - $358.43; Jeff and Kim Giles - tabled for additional cost information.
2.    67th and Gore Intersection - consulting engineers and staff to review plans regarding business access.
3.    Burns & McDonnell contract on landfill amended.
4.    CIP hearings to be scheduled quarterly - January, April, July and October.
5.    Chamber of Commerce permit for helicopter landing approved.
6.    Clearwell repair, fund transfer approved.
7.    Res. 93-17 approved on transportation.
8.    Annual report from LMAPC received.
9.    Res. 93-18 - Warkentin settlement.

CONSENT ITEMS:

10.    Damage claims approved: Miller's Auto Parts - Res. 93-19 $750; Weldon Jones - $364.

12.    Hearing date set on closing easement part at 7903 NW Folkstone Way, April 13.

REPORTS: Page said trip on E911 equipment was helpful to she and Pippin. Mayor Marley thanked those involved in Fort Sill Coop clean up of I-44 to 52nd on Rogers Lane, and another is planned for April 3. Mayor Marley announced that Barfield had resigned as the City's representative to Great Plains Improvement Foundation. Shelton volunteered to serve.
