LAWTON CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 14, 1993 - 6:00 P.M.

The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. by Mayor Marley. Notice of meeting and agenda were posted on the City Hall bulletin board as required by law.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION: Bobby Wilson requested street reconstruction from 714 Sedalia to intersection of Ranch Oaks. Russ Finch called for approval of ordinances on flooding.

BUSINESS ITEMS:

1.    Res. No. 93-143 for condemnation of 1814 SW Washington - work with owner re: CDBG funds for demolition.
2.    Resolution for condemnation of 30 SW "B" Avenue tabled - work with owner.
3.    Damage claims denied - Mayer, Belcher.
4.    Revocable permit to Steve Lawley for taxi cab stand at 2540 NW Fort Sill Boulevard
5.    Modification to application for Community Rating System (CRS) re: flood insurance rating classification
6.    Traffic study for Gore Boulevard in front of Memorial Hospital tabled until all information is received.

8.    Ratified action of Water Authority on sale of raw water to Marathon Oil Company.
9.    Res. 93-146 traffic controls.
10.    Denied traffic controls except speed bumps in front of Douglass School - check liability, find way to slow traffic.
11.    Memo of Understanding with LMAPC for professional transportation modeling consultant tabled - see if Cameron, Vo Tech, OML or ODOT can help with computer model program.
12.    Quit claim deed and warranty deed for park land for Park Ridge Addition, Part 3 approved.
13.    Accepted S Industrial Access Road Phase II.
14.    Agreement with Burgess & Burgess Law Firm for benefit plans.
15.    Renewed agreement with Memorial re: Employee Assistance.
16.    Awarded construction contract for NE Flower Mound Road Project 93-26 (Wrattan Creek Tributary Bridge) to Bruton Const. for $210,014.
17.    Awarded construction contract for Sewer Rehab 93-6 to Dobbs-Washita for $387,771.50.
18.    Rejected bids for E911 Consolidated Dispatch Center.

19.    Jogging track material extended to Red Dog Track, Inc., formerly Strawn Material Co., to 11/24/94.
20.    Rejected bid on one ton trucks.

29.    Mayor's Appointments: Human Rights - Kimberly Tahchawwickah, Beverly Small; Commission on Aging - Ester Moreno; Bentley not reappointed to CIP.

REPORTS: Barfield requested traffic signal at 11th Street and Bishop Road.
